Wife and I enjoyed a delicious meal here! I had a steak and it was cooked to perfection. Prices were reasonable, service was top notch, and they even had live music! A rare combination of great food, great service, and a great atmosphere!
Next time we're in Cleveland, we'll be back! -

Couldn't wait to give this place a try once I saw their specials on IG. I definitely have some helpful criticism and some kudos to give. When you enter, there's a chalkboard with the specials scribbled on it. I was itching to clean it and redo it. That's the first impression.
The elderly regulars inside greet you as if they're surprised to see a new face. All very friendly, but they scream over each other the entire time while slowly sipping their drinks. Not talking, screaming. This wouldn't be unusual if it were a lively sports bar atmosphere. This is not. Low ceilings and no music gives it a living room feel and amplifies their conversations even more. It kind of feels like you're intruding if that makes sense. It's as if this place isn't open to the public.
They had trivia going on which being in such a small environment felt overwhelming and more like a nursing home activity. It was a Saturday night. I would have preferred jazz/music. Trivia might work better on a Tuesday. The one waiter there was very friendly and did an excellent job with everything.
The food was good. It was like eating at home. This is the first place I've ever gone to where I had to add salt. Not a big deal and kind of refreshing, but be aware. Take the fresh pepper offering from the waiter. I ordered the chicken with angel hair and my husband got the Marsala. 4-star plates. No complaints. Great salad and bread. Husband's tomato soup with green beans was fair. The stuffed mushrooms for app were "okay".
Clean place, nicely remodeled and they have their own parking lot with plenty of empty spaces. The prices were really surprising. Our bill was $40. Honestly, I think if they raised their ceiling, turned up the music, maybe turned the lights down a little and lost the paper placemats, it would be a shnazzy little spot. I gave 4-stars because I think the owner is trying and doing okay. I'd love to see a few changes and go back. -

A great resturant for the older crowd. Quite and appealing atmosphere. Lunch menu has great prices. Our Pastor of our church eats here almost every day and he highly recommends it. Service is great and turn around time is wonderful. Staff are friendly and professional. I love their veal dishes. This is a classic place and has been in Lakewood for a long time. Check it out!

This place is awful. I ordered a medium rare steak and it was cooked medium well. I had to walk around the restaurant to find the waitress to let her know that the food was unacceptable because she never bothered to check back. In the meantime my husband had his dinner. Twenty five minutes later - my husband had finished his meal, I still had no food. We had to wave the waitress over again to tell her to cancel my order and comp us our drinks.
Another waitress, came over with the check and explained that she was just a "lowly server" and didn't have the authority to comp us anything. I told her I had been a waitress for many years and knew that when an order got messed up it was a priority to fix it and perhaps she should talk to her manager.
She literally threw the check on the table. For the first time in my 64 years I left zero tip. Do not go to this place! Horrible service. Horrible cook. -

Recently underwent a complete remodel. Very light and airy. Good food, cold beer and a friendly crowd of locals.
